Astronauts who participated in the symposium

Buzz Aldrin, the second man to set foot on the moon, was among the veteran astronauts, aerospace entrepreneurs and spaceflight enthusiasts who gathered in Las Cruces for the second annual International Symposium for Personal Spaceflight, sponsored by New Mexico State University and the X PRIZE Foundation. Astronauts who participated in the symposium included, left to right above, Tom Jones, Jay Buckey, Buzz Aldrin, Mario Runco, David Bartoe, Rick Searfoss, Leroy Chiao and John Herrington. ISPS 2007 is scheduled for Oct. 24 and 25 at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces.
